A collection of farmer’s market recipes using all the fresh produce summer has to offer! Find a way to use your produce before summer ends!
Summer is in full swing and I’ve been loving it! All the fresh greens, berries, and vegetables are one of my favorite parts of summer!
One of my favorite ways to get fresh produce is to head to my local farm and do u-picks. It’s fun to bring the kids and show them where their food comes from and how it’s harvested. Plus, it can be a lot more cost effective to do u-picking than buying it directly from the farmers market or at the grocery store.
We love to pick strawberries, blueberries, green beans, and peaches, but I’ve also seen u-pick raspberries, blackberries, tomatoes, zucchini, apples, and corn! Different produce is available for u-pick at different times in the season, so check your local farm’s website to see what’s available and when.
Not sure where your local u-pick farms are? Check out this website! You can choose your location by state and county and it will tell you all the u-pick options in your area!
You may be asking yourself “what can I do with my fresh produce?”. Because I know you love the summer produce season as much as I do, I put together 30 farmer’s market recipes using fresh produce. In this list, you’ll find a variety of dinner and side dish options to make with all your farmer’s market finds!
