THE ROLE
This position plays a vital role in our firm’s in-house marketing efforts and social media engagement. You will be responsible for brainstorming, creating, and executing graphic and video content across multiple social media platforms including but not limited to the following: Instagram, Facebook, X, Google My Business, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Candidates must have and maintain their own equipment and an active Adobe Cloud account. All other essential editing software, including CapCut, ManyChat, and more, will be provided.
A successful candidate has a passion for creating compelling social media brand visibility and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. This candidate is detail-oriented, self-managed, and possesses a creative and collaborative mindset. The ability to take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into graphic and video content is paramount for this role.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the marketing department to develop, capture, and create engaging digital and social media content for brand promotion.
- Write creative and compelling captions optimized for audience engagement.
- Engage and respond to followers with a strong understanding of our brand’s voice.
- Design and produce a wide range of digital assets, including graphics, short-form video, and layouts for various online platforms (e.g., websites, social media, email marketing campaigns).
- Provide creative input on campaign strategy, including suggesting innovative ideas for content and digital media initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with our creative team to produce and modify videos, photographs, and creative graphics.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in graphic design, video production, and digital media to ensure content is fresh, relevant, and engaging.
- Cultivate the growth of all the firm’s social media channels.
- Outstanding copywriting and video production skills.
- Basic understanding of email marketing principles, creating templates and scheduling campaigns.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Robust graphic and video portfolio.
- Demonstrated proficiency in content management with tangible examples of successful campaigns or projects.
- Track record of driving page growth through strategic initiatives and impactful content creation.
- Expert in all major social media platforms including creating viral TikToks.
- Excellent content creation skills including video production, editing and creative graphics.
- Proficiency in the Adobe Design Suite (Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and other content creation tools such as CapCut.
- Motion Graphics and HubSpot experience are a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience creating content for multiple channels and formats including social media and email.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Strong independent time management for daily workload and deadlines.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
- Creative and independent mindset.
SALARY & BENEFITS
- ~24 hours or 3 days per week; final schedule is flexible/negotiable.
- $20-$30 per hour, based on experience.
- Hybrid work flexibility - mostly remote work with some in-office meetings/events.
