We believe quality, innovation, and sustainability are the three interrelated aspects that will impact the future.In the last 20 years, the Quality movement, particularly the Qmod network, has actively contributed to societal issues in theory and practice. Reflecting on this, it's fascinating how insights from animal behavior, like ant colony optimization, can inform not just AI development but inspire designing for humans. Here, my fellow countryman, Jhonny, shows how last-mile delivery underscores the potential of biomimicry in tackling complex urban logistics through computer science. As a designer intrigued by the intersection of nature, technology, and human behavior, I find this approach particularly enlightening. I encourage everyone, especially those in design and logistics, to listen to this episode for unique perspectives on innovation.

Over the past weeks, we had the privilege of hosting Prof. Michael Gusenbauer from the Johannes Kepler Universität Linz at our Institute. We benefitted from his expertise through many discussions and interesting meetings. Presenting one of his ongoing projects, Michael shared his expertise through a seminar on enhancing literature sampling in systematic reviews and meta-analyses. We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to Michael for providing us with fresh perspectives and valuable insights on optimizing the literature sampling process. I was delighted to participate in the 7th Navigating Knowledge Landscapes annual conference, hosted in Hochschule Fulda.A very interesting conference with researchers from different fields, focusing on a very important and ever-growing topic of “the dark side of digital societies”.
